Mark Wilcox
Mark has over
40 years in the newspaper business, beginning his
career with the Boston Globe. After close to 20 years he moved on to
Harte-Hanks Communications, a
multi-media corporation which includes a number of daily newspapers, TV
stations (including cable),
and Direct Marketing facilities throughout the United States, where he
rose to the position
of Vice-President. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston
College as well as a
Doctorate of Law from New England Law School, and is active in many
business organizations
throughout Southern Maine. Mark has maintained a home in Wells for over
20 years while traveling
extensively in his previous newspaper career.

Columnist: Joe Hebert
Born and raised in Ogunquit, Joe graduated from Emerson College in December of 2011 with a BA in Writing, Literature and Publishing. After leaving southern Maine for school, Joe has returned home to begin his post-graduate career. He has a love of southern Maine that was furthered during his studies both in Boston and abroad. Joe now lives in Kennebunkport and enjoys anything that revolves around popular culture, his family or the ocean.

Columnist: Larry Favinger
A native of
Pennsylvania, Larry first came to the Seacoast area as an Air Force
medic at Pease AFB. He has spent over 40 years in the newspaper
business, retiring in 2001 from The Portsmouth Herald after positions
such as Sports Editor, City Editor, Op/Ed Editor and Maine Bureau
Chief. He was named New Hampshire Sportswriter of the Year ten times,
and in 1996 was named New England Journalist of the Year by the New
England Press Association. Since retiring he has done freelance work
for several area publications. He lives in York and has been married to wife Rose Ann for 48 years.
They have a grown daughter, Laura. He is an avid reader, golfer and
musician. He enjoys playing his keyboard and sings with the First
Parish Church choir and in a men’s ensemble, the Bow Tie
Guys.

Columnist: Scott Andrews
Scott has
been writing about theater and the performing arts since 1987 and has
authored more than 1000 articles in well-known publications. Occasional
assignments include pieces for The Associated Press and the Maine
Tourism Association. He received his education from the University of
Chicago, completing not only a Bachelor’s degree but also an M.B.A.

Book & Movie Review Editor: Richard “Chip” Schrader
Richard “Chip” Schrader was born just west of the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Since then, he has obtained a B.A. in English from Alfred University, and has fully assimilated into his New England life. He spends his days working at The Rice Public Library, playing music, writing, and studying to obtain his Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He lives in Kennebunk with his wife.

Manager: Carol Brennan
Carol is a
resident of Wells, who has entered the newspaper
business as a second career after retiring with over 35 years at
Raytheon Manufacturing Company. Her
tenure at Raytheon was spent primarily in the purchasing department as
a buyer and customer service
representative. She is a native of Lawrence, Massachusetts
in the Merrimack Valley where she attended both high school and college.

Manager: David Kennedy
David is a
combat veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was
Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Marine Corp. He went to New
Hampshire College and graduated with a business degree, receiving
Honors. He has worked for a local newspaper for 30 years and has lived
in South Berwick for just as long (after moving from the Mid-West).
His lengthy marriage has blessed him with two kids and four
grandchildren.

Director/Graphic Artist: Raina Keim
Raina
graduated in December 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico, and an Associates
degree in Computing
Technology from the Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute. She is
glad to be back
from New Mexico, living not far from her hometown of South Berwick where she can
spend time with
family and the Atlantic Ocean.
